About Me

I started programming back around 1986, first with Terrapin Logo for Macintosh and later with Microsoft BASIC for Macintosh. I've lived through the ups and downs of THINK Pascal, THINK C and CodeWarrior. I have at least dabbled in pretty much all the major programming languages since each one is just another tool to convert some sort of human-readable procedural structure into bits that the computer understands. The majority of my professional time has been spent working with C and C-derived languages including C++, C# and Objective-C.

In my spare time I dabble in photography (love my Canon 7D!), fly model helicopters (my T-REX 450 is a beast) and even find time to do a little circuit design and basic robotics based around microcontrollers such as Microchip's PIC and Parallax' Propeller.
